I'm back=)
I didn't write here because I was so busy for month or two. Frankly, I'm busy even now - study, study, study...
But there are a few fortunate events in this crazy life. I mean, House M.D. on Monday=) I can't imagine how I'll spend 7 hours in the university=)) The same I can say about "Bones" and "Lie To Me".

I'm fond of reading. I read in every free moment. I read books almost in all genres - from classical to post-modern, from Dante to Paulo Coelho. But literature of the first half of the 20th century is my great love=)
I nad been reading "Murder on the Oriental Exspress" for several hours since this morning. I love Poirot=))

Stephen Fry was in St. Petersburg.
Of course, I stayed at home. There are two curst thousand km between Orenburg and St. Petersburg! :'(

My the next interest is cinema. I'm in holidays now, so I have too much time to watch films I like. But when I passed exams at university I also watched so many movies instead of learning examinational stuff :D
My film interests range from comedies to dramas.
I watched House M. D. lately (who don't know about him?:D) As for other serials, I like Jeeves and Wooster, Kingdom, Doctor Who, Torchwood and what not. My favorite actors are Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Gerard Butler, David Tennant etc, etc, etc. Some films I like are The Phantom of the Opera, Schindler's List, Wilde, The Discovery of Heaven, Relative Values and many-many others.
As for TV, I prefer to watch daily and some documentary programmes. Although I'm a girl with a blond hair I'm interested in politics and economy :DD

What about music?:)
I began to play the guitar when I was eleven years old. I went to the music school for five years. I love music with all my heart!
Classical music is beauty in sounds, it gives us delight, pleasure and a sense of happiness. I prefer to listen to the music of the 19th century. My the most favorite composer is Piotr Chaikovskiy. I like "The Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker", "Four Seasons". I also like Mozart, Wagner, Bach and some things by Vivaldi, Shubert, Grieg. I like to play pieces by Ivanov-Kramskoy, Bach, Shilin and spanish folk melodies.
As for modern music, I listen to the group "The Mill", Engelbert Humperdinck, Sarah Brightman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Alessandro Safina, Vladimir Vysotskiy and many-many others. The music I hate is rap >_

I want to tell about myself:)
My name is Irene, and I'm nineteen years old. Now I'm a student of the pedagogical university. I will be a philologist and will teach literature and Russian language;) Yes, I'm from Russia and live in Orenburg (perhaps you know about orenburg downy shawls:) and, of course, about Yuriy Gagarin:)).
I like to play the guitar and sing, listen to the music, read, watch movies, write fanfics and what not. Music is an important part in my life. I often sing and play at concerts, play the guitar for one or more hours a day.
My favorite writers are Pelham Wodehouse, Alexandre Dumas, Stephen Fry, Jerome K. Jerome, Leo Tolstoy, Oscar Wilde ect. I also like poetry.
I'll write about my favorite movies, actors, singers and composers for the next times:)

English is not my native language, but I'll try to keep this journal. I want to read fandom stuff and converse with people of interest.
